Freight that moves, whether or not it fits our trucks

We run our own equipment and a brokerage alongside it. That combination means a load rarely comes back declined, and you keep one point of contact from quote to proof of delivery.

What this service is

Ombreza is a carrier and a freight brokerage in the same business. We own equipment and we move freight with it. When a load does not suit our own trucks, we place it with carriers we have already checked, and we stay responsible for it while it runs.

Most shippers end up managing that split themselves, keeping a carrier for the regular runs and a broker for everything else, then acting as the go-between when something slips. Handling both sides here removes that job from your desk. You send us the load, we decide how it moves, and you get one answer when you ask where it is.

Who it is for

Built for shippers who need capacity to be dependable

  • Manufacturers and distributors

Businesses shipping regularly enough to feel it when a carrier cancels, but not large enough to keep a dedicated logistics team on payroll.

  • Shippers with awkward lanes

Routes that fall outside a regular network, run at low frequency, or pair a dense outbound with a difficult return.

  • Anyone tired of chasing status

Shippers who have spent too many afternoons phoning a dispatcher to find out where a load is and when it will actually arrive.

Problems we solve

The four things that usually go wrong with freight

None of these are unusual. They are just rarely anyone's job to fix.

  • Capacity that disappears

A carrier takes the load, then drops it the morning it matters. Running our own equipment alongside a brokerage means we have a second answer ready rather than starting the search over.

  • Carriers you cannot vouch for

Freight handed to a broker often ends up with whoever bid lowest. We check operating authority and active insurance before a partner carrier touches your freight, every time.

  • Silence between pickup and delivery

Most freight complaints are really information complaints. We send status at the points that change your decisions, so you are not calling us to ask.

  • A different contact every time

Whether we haul the load ourselves or place it with a partner, you deal with the same person here. The routing decision is ours to manage, not yours to track.

How we route a load

Our equipment first, our network second, your problem never

Every load gets the same assessment: can we haul this well ourselves, and if not, who in our network can. That decision happens on our side before you are quoted, so the rate you see already reflects how the freight will actually move.

  • Own equipment for the lanes and loads it suits
  • Vetted partner carriers for everything beyond it
  • Authority and insurance verified before a carrier hauls
  • One contact and one invoice regardless of who drives

How it works

From load details to proof of delivery

  1. Send the load details

Origin, destination, weight, equipment and the pickup and delivery windows. If something is flexible, tell us, because it usually widens the options.

  2. We quote and confirm

You get a rate and a plan, including whether the load runs on our equipment or goes to a partner carrier. We confirm before anything is booked.

  3. Dispatch and transit

The load is assigned and moving. You get pickup confirmation, transit updates and early warning if anything changes, rather than a surprise on delivery day.

  4. Delivery and paperwork

Proof of delivery comes back to you promptly, along with anything else the invoice needs. Recurring lanes get reviewed so the next run is smoother.

Questions

Freight questions we get asked

Are you a carrier or a broker?

Both. We operate our own equipment and we run a brokerage alongside it. When a load suits our trucks we haul it directly. When it does not, because of timing, geography or equipment, we place it with a vetted partner carrier and manage it from our side. You deal with us either way.

Why does running both matter to me?

A carrier can only take what its fleet covers, so anything outside that gets declined. A broker with no assets is entirely dependent on who is available that day. Running both means we have our own capacity to fall back on and a network to reach past it, which is usually the difference between a load moving and a load waiting.

How do you choose partner carriers?

We check active operating authority and current insurance before a carrier is used, and we keep working with the ones that perform. A carrier that misses pickups or goes quiet in transit does not stay on the list.

What do you need from me to quote?

Origin and destination, approximate weight and dimensions, the equipment type if you know it, and your pickup and delivery windows. Anything you can tell us about the commodity or special handling helps us quote accurately the first time.

Do you handle one-off shipments or only contracted lanes?

Both. Some clients send a single load, some run the same lane every week. Recurring freight is easier to price well because we can plan around it, but a one-off shipment is a perfectly normal place to start.

How will I know where my freight is?

We send confirmation at pickup, updates in transit and proof of delivery on arrival. If a delay comes up, you hear it from us when we hear it, not when the load fails to arrive.

Send us a lane and we will price it

Give us the origin, destination and timing and we will come back with a rate and a plan for how the load moves. If we are not the right fit for it, we will tell you that too.
